E18. Back Before CX
Back in our day… we didn’t have “journey maps”. The only map we had was to the corner store, and it was uphill both ways.
Before the concept of “customer experience,” we simply called it doing our job and hoping nobody yelled at us.
Funny thing is, all those crooked, wrinkled paths led right here… to CX.
So pour a cuppa tea, settle into your rocking chair, turn up your hearing aids and listen to the stories of what these CX Pros were way back when.
